Passenger compartments of Indian Railways that are developed by Linke Hofmann Busch of Germany and produced by rail coach factory in Kapurthala,India. These coaches are designed for speeds upto 160kmph sometimes to 200kmph. They have been tested upto a speed of 180kmph. Their length is 23.54m and has a width of 3.24m by having these dimensions passenger capacity increases. These coaches are made of up of stainless steel and interiors are made of aluminium which helps to reduce the weight.These type of coaches are used in superfast express trains like Rajdhani,Shatabdi and Duronto express.
