SAMPARK KRANTI

Sampark Kranti express trains are a series of super fast trains operated by Indian Railways providing quick connectivity to the national capital, New Delhi. The words Sampark and Kranti are from Sanskrit. Sampark means connect and Kranti means revolution. The Sampark Kranti trains operate at a slower average speeds than Rajdhani and Shatabdi series of trains, there operating speeds are 110kmph (68mph).

These trains are provided to give high speed access at lower traveling costs. Sampark kranti trains charges the same fare as regular/superfast trains on the rail network and do not provide any special facilities. The trains aims at reducing travel time without compromising on passenger comfort. Initially eighteen trains were introduced and later their count was increased.
